Day Training

Positive Reinforcement Dog Training in Greater New Haven, CT

Day Training

Starting at $100/session

Day training is a great program for busy pet parents who need extra support teaching their pups new behaviors.

How It Works

Our trainer will come to your pet three to four times a week to work one-on-one in private, hour long sessions. We will work on behaviors discussed at your consultation.

Day training also includes weekly Pet Parent Sessions where we will work with you and your dog one-on-one so you can continue reinforcing their learning!

Benefits

Day training takes off some of the stress of “homework” that coaching sessions require. More time with our trainer means more reinforcement with a professional, producing faster results.

While we still recommend working with your dog as regularly as possible to keep up his momentum and develop a reinforcement history and working relationship with him, less of that responsibility will fall on your shoulders!

What Your Dog Will Learn

Our Day Training programs always begin with a consultation. This will allow us time to get to know you, your dog and what your training goals are.

All learning in all of our training programs is done via positive reinforcement. This means your dog will be rewarded for the correct and response and mistakes will simply be ignored. We will not use force, prong collars, choke collars or e-collars on your dog – guaranteed.

What's Included

Each Coaching Program includes the agreed upon number of sessions. The exact number will depend on your dog, your training goals and your budget.

All Day Training Programs include a clicker and a treat bag. Additional clickers, treat bags and our favorite training harnesses are available for purchase here.

A weekly summary of your dog’s progress and a recap of our Handler Learning Sessions will be provided.
